email M&M Fine Arts
Together, Mark and Mounyen (moon-yene) have been small business
owners since 1981. Their main business, M&M Fine Arts, is the parent company
for M&M Dance, Video, Jewelry, and Graphic Arts. Mark and Mounyens rich
experiences include 3D graphics, logo design, audio/video editing, music mixing,
acting, directing, dance instruction, choreography, and lighting.
Mark has been running around with film and video cameras since
grade school making short movies. He decided to get serious about video in 1993
for taping the dance productions of M&M Dance Arts in more of a music video
format. In 1994 Mark started working for Outlaw Video Productions taping
weddings. 1996 marked a new era when he and his family moved to Kent, WA, bought
new video equipment and set up M&M Video Arts. Now the Clifton Family lives
in the San Francisco Bay Area where Mark is learning all about the web.
Mounyens first love has always been dancing. She started taking
lessons at the age of three and continued throughout her life. Mounyen started
M&M Dance Arts in 1981 from scratch and turned it into a place where
children and adults learned the love of dance. M&M Dance Arts was forced to
close when Marks job took them to Kent, WA, but Mounyen made special arrangements
to continue teaching. As Director of M&M Dance Arts Mounyen has become an
expert at makeup, costume design, set design, lighting, choreography, and
dancing.
Mounyens second love is beaded jewelry. It started when her son
Arthur received a polymer clay bead making kit that she helped him with. She
liked it so much that she branched into glass beads and semi-precious stones.
Mounyen is now making custom jewelry on order and every flat surface in the
house has a bead project on it.
